Another EMC10 installation issue

I purchased and downloaded EMC9 a few weeks ago.....£60

 

It wouldn't install.......short of saying thanks for the £60...Roxio support was hopeless

 

I have now purchased,and downloaded EMC10...£60...and it will not install!!!!.....halfway through install I receive the message that I need to install EMC10 first!!!!!!!!!

 

£120 wasted and now I find this forum with hindreds of installation an operating problems.Surely the software is not fit for purpose.

I woulds like a full refund but just go round in circles with Roxio

If you downloaded EMC 10, you should have TWO files - one for program and the other for content. Install program first as content won't install unless the program is installed (you will need to reboot after installing the program and before you install the content

 

What size are the files you downloaded? (just in case you have a corrupt file)

You need to go back and download the Program file, which is about the same size file.

I am glad that you found it. You should burn both of those files to a DVD just in case you need them to install the program again in the future.

....now I can join in with other areas of the forum because many of the features do not work or not respond!!!!!
