No Playback (Need licensed copy...)

No problem in transferring to my Mac but when I click on Play (inside Tivo Transfer) I'm told: "You need additional software. To watch your programs you need a licensed copy of Toast 8 Titanium" I think that's what I already have as my Toast 8 has a license number in the "About" screen.

I found that you need to launch Toast video player from the "Extras" menu in Toast once for TTG to "see" the registration.

I found that you need to launch Toast video player from the "Extras" menu in Toast once for TTG to "see" the registration.

 

In addition you usually need to launch Toast at least once and exit out of it.

Just learned from another post: Launch Toast, go up to the HELP menu, run the Toast setup assistant, make sure "enable Tivo transfers" is checked, then finish the set-up assistant.

 

It solved my (similar) problem.
