grandpabruce
Is it possible to remove the singing parts from a song so you are left with only the instrumental / music track? Not with the Roxio software.
Wingwiper
actually! not with any software. I purchased a piece of software awhile back to accomplish as much as I could doing this. Unless you have the Master Tape where you can only play the tracks you want, you will ALWAYS be left with some vocal. What the programs do, is change the song into a Mono track and (both the right the same as the left but still seperate channels) and then they reverse phase one track. The process will eliminate the vocals more on some songs then on others but there is always vocal left. You can buy Karoke versions of the same songs, but chances are they will NOT be done by the artist that you want. Other than that, there is no way without the Master Recording on the multi tracks.
