Thanks for taking the time to help me... Sorry, erro message reads: DVD Builder has encountered a problem and needs to close. It sure does. Internet Explorer 7 and Windows Media Player 11, effectively kill EMC 7, EMC 7.5, and EMC 8. You need to roll both of them back, if you want to use the software. You more than likely will have to uninstall and reinstall the software, after you dump those MS Vista versions.

Dave07
I'm not much of a computer geek, so bear with me. How do I roll back and to what versions? Or if I uninstall IE7, can I reinstall after I finish the project?

Or if I uninstall IE7, can I reinstall after I finish the project? Sure you can but it will break V7 again. Do yourself a favor, uninstall IE7 and install Firefox. It doesn't break anything! Dave07
Dumb question, but if I uninstall IE7, won't any piece of software or update I have instaled since using IE7 be un-usable?
cdanteek
I don't know of any software that requires IE 7. Uninstalling it should fix your problem not cause any. cd

lynn98109
Try re-reading the part in Post #7 where GrandpaBruce said you might need to reinstall EMC 7 after removing those Microsoft programs backported from Vista (they make major changes in the Operating System, and make a lot of software unusable).
