gaper1
what kind of DVD are you trying to import from? Are you able to import any other video files?
BillonKauai
I'm having the same problem. I had a disc with .ifo and .vob files, and could import them with Media Selector or "Add new movie". I copied those files to my hard drive, and now Media Selector will preview them but NOT add them to the Storyline. When I try to Add photo/video, I get a message saying "Add movie operation failed c2000003" or "One or more of the files you are trying to add cannot be found, and can not be added" I'm getting pretty frustrated with this program. Change the .vob file exension to .mpg and try again. Make sure that you uncheck the "Don't show known file extensions" in Windows settings, so you can see the complete file extension. Men
Could you please specify the camera type you use? This would help a lot.
BillonKauai
Thanks for the idea, but it didn't work. EMC still previews the movie fine, then shows error "Add movie operation failed C2000003" There's no mention of error C2000003 that I can find in the support section here. Well, you can try a clean install, because I have no idea why you can preview the files and not bring them in.

grandpabruce
Is there anyway to import my video files that are already on my pc? Depending on what kind of video files they are, and what you want to do, the answer is yes. Open VideoWave, click on Add Photo/Video, browse to the folder where your video file is, and see if you can bring it in for editing.
