trebor8617
I am trying to burn a dvd but the original video file is about 30 minutes longer than I want. I am trying to find out how to trim some video from the beginning and end of the original video clip. How do I open the Production Editor? I can't find it. Thanks Simply click on the movie in the menu tree you want to edit and then click on Edit Movie in the Edit panel. If you want to do more extensive editing, you should be using Videowave to edit your video and saving your project as a dmsm file. You can then launch myDVD and add the dmsm project under Add New Movie. myDVD is designed to be used for authoring the DVD, ie create menus and do the nurn. Videowave is the editing program withing the EMC 10 suite although the editor can also be launched from within myDVD. I prefer to keep the 2 functions separate. jeanrosenfeld
There is also a send to My DVD option in Videowave, in the file menu, which conveniently launches My DVD for you after you have completed the edits in Videowave.
