Not sure why this was moved to the Installation/Uninstillation folder - so I will try to post it again, this is not an installation issue as the program has installed without delays each time.
So this is where I am -
Happily working with EMC 9 for ages, Vista comes along and the problems start, went back to XP Pro - wait and wait for the 9.1 patch, then Surprise, Surprise EMC 10 appears. So I bit the bullet, paid the cash and installed EMC 10.
The program installed without a hitch and the program ran smoothly until I tried My DVD, took ages to load then - Nothing!
Tried videoWave, started to load then BSD and PC restarted. I have so far uninstalled and reinstalled EMC 10 four times, replace CCC with v7.7 from 7.9 because of the reported bug problems, checked that the directX file was in place, checked that directX video accelleration was off in WMC and CCC but nothing clears the problem.
Each time I reboot my PC and restart the application the same thing happens, sooner or later the repeated BSD's are going to screw up my PC, so until a solution or workaround can be found I am forced to go back to EMC 9.
I guess 'forced' is the wrong way to put it - EMC 9 did everything I asked of it except work with Vista.
