Kevin Remde
Just wondering: Is the size limit that I am bumping up against when uploading to Silverlight hosting is really a Silverlight limit? I know they have a limit of 10 minutes of streaming, but there's no way I can get an "HD" (1280x720) video of that length under the size limit that Roxio Buzz is telling me to limit it to. So far I've been able to only get 30 seconds uploaded. If I have 4GB to play with at the Silverlight hosting, then why can't I upload a video that's bigger than 18MB? roxonline
Yes, unfortunately Silverlight Streaming does not allow uploads greater than 22MB. We are working on an update of Buzz that may address the fact that you can only do 18MB (we improved some of the bit rate calculations), but the max truly is 22MB on the Microsoft side. I imagine they may increase this over time as their service becomes more established.
