No Scenes In Videowave

I have a MPG video that I captured from VHS. There are no separate scenes. I go into Media Manager, right click on the file and choose Scene Detection-Auto Detect. When it is done, I save the file and then open it up in Videowave. There still aren't any scenes in Production Editor. Just one scene. What am I doing wrong?

Sounds like you are adding the single file. Start with an empty Videowave project. Add Video and then click on the BLUE BOOK on teh left side. Drag the separate scenes down individually.

Thanks. I open Videowave; Create a New Production; Add Photo/Video. When I click on the tab with the Blue Book (My Albums) it says: "This album is empty. To add files..." When I add my MPG file, it still shows up as one scene.

Sorry, I get the other Media Manager confused with that one. [blush]

 

Instead of 'ADD PHOTO/VIDEO, go down to the TOOLS and click on SHOW MEDIA SELECTOR. Don't know why they look exactly the same, but do different things. In THAT Media Selector, you can RIGHT click on any video file and choose 'Scene Detection'. Once you do that, the individual scenes can then be dragged down individually and in any order you want.
