Menu Fonts Unreadable For Many Styles

chang_chungyen@yahoo.com

Question

Hi,

On my system, many of the menu styles would have the entire text box shown in the font color and the text would be unreadable. Even if I adjust the transparency level, I still would not be able to see the text, rather just a block of colors. In other menu styles, I would have no problem changing font colors and the transparency levels. I also tried using some of the fonts that worked for me in other styles but it just wouldn't work. Has anyone experienced the same thing?

Thanks.

I have the same problem with my desktop -- Dell Dimension 4100. Five of the menu backgrounds do exactly as you described -- Brook, Business, Flowers, Halloween and Snowman. The others work! I spoke with Roxio and was told my driver was not compatible and old. It is NVIDIA GeForce 2 Ultra (Microsoft Corporation) installed 8/3/2004. They explicity identified "Microsoft Corporation" as a part of the problem. As a result I put the software on my laptop. It worked there. The driver on my laptop is ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9700. I have contacted www.nvidia.com to identify a potential update to my driver as I want to work on my desktop. They have not responded in 3 days. Our desktop is over 6 years old and I am thinking of simply buying a new computer.
