Yet Another Rebate Problem

Like several other users, my lousy $20 rebate is in limbo. I purchased an upgrade following an offer Roxio sent me by email. The rebate was rejected because the "the store that sold me the package does not honor the rebate" but at the same time, Roxios own database stated that it is aware of the problem and the rebate should be processed. This is ridiculous as I bought the packge by following a link from their own (Roxio/sonics)website!

 

As of last night, Roxio is trying to blame Rebateshq and the other vendor, passing the buck back and forth.

 

As a matter of principal, this is extremely annoying and I have posted complaints at Macfixit in an effort to shame Roxio into honoring our REBATES.

 

It has been nearly 4 months since I bought the upgrade

Thank you for bringing to our attention. Please understand this is not intentional. As per RebatesHQ, the submission was received on 11/30/05 when we were expriencing such unintentional rebate issues. We have a record of you touching our support services on 03/01/06 and has been escalated.

 

You should see a cheque in mail in next 7-10 business days. If not, please donot hesitate to contact me.
