I Can't Capture

I have version 7 and I am trying for the first time ever to capture video. I don't know what I am doing. I have a Sony Digital 8 Camcorder DCR-TRV103 and I am working on an HP Media Center PC. It has a Legacy Video Capture Device. I have the camera connected to the video with the red/white/yellow cable (?name). I know the computer and camera are communicating since I can see my computer screen on the camcorder screen. When I open up the Capture Screen of the detected devices it shows and Emuzed EvcapMaui Device with a little video camera next to it. I am assuming that is what I am supposed to click on. It opens the capture screen but nothing happens. When I play my tape I don't see it in the capture box. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Yup, use the software that came with the capture card, because EMC 8 only captures via firewire.
