Mydvd Playback Stops Zeros Counter And Restarts

When reviewing (in slideshow editor) or watching a burned DVD in slideshow the program stops every 4min 30 seconds, resets the counter and starts where it stoped. This is annoying when watching the slideshow. The show is 530 images with MP3 sound. Each slide is 2.7 seconds. I tried it without sound and changed the title style and also the the time the slide is up. It still stops and continues. I am running sonic mydvd 6.1.2 that came with EMC. My EMC 7.5 is 7.5.2.49. Need to show this presentation to 200 people and would like to eliminate the stops/starts every 00:4:30 minutes.

Sonic MyDVD v6 is not related to Roxio v7 in anyway.

 

Since you have v7.5, I suggest you build your slideshow in VideoWave and try it that way.

Build that slide show in VideoWave, and you shouldn't have any problems at all. It is a far superior program than the Sonic MyDVD.

I certainly concur with Bruce and James. My suggestion is also to use VIDEOWAVE. It's superior to MyDVD. And I'm not sure by reading your post what type of slides you are looking at, but 2.7 seconds is really, really fast !! I suggest that most people won't get the real enjoyment of your slide show at that fast a rate. 530 slides in less than 24 minutes is extreme I think.

Thanks guys, I took your advice and did it in videowave although I missed not being able to change the background color from black to blue on the vertical (portrate) shots and I enjoyed the ability to have the image zoom in.

 

The slideshow is a sports presentation of all the winter sports. 9 different teams and will be shown at the sports banquet. We needed to keep it short and use it as a wakeup at the end of all the verbal awards.
