Cassette tape to CD

Followed instructions carefully and managed to get 19 tracks listed in the playlist area. says will take about 500Mb and easily fit on a CD. But when I ask it to burn, it only burns the track names - and will not play on a domestic CD player. After wasting 8 blanks, I found that one would play on my PC but nowhere else.

Any advice most welcome!

Perhaps a little time with the manual especially Music Disc Creator would help.

You captured from a cassette? What format? If you captured to mp3 files, and just burned them as data files, they won't play.

Please tell us what Application you are using and What version of a Roxio program. Perhaps we can give you more help.

What type of blanks are you burning to? Most cd players won't play RW discs.

Any other comments would be just guesses.

Sorry for delay in responding!

Playing an old fashioned Sony cassette tape with Roxio Creator 6 and burning to CD-R (8 failures), then CD-RW and copying to CD-R.

All equally unsuccessful!

They save in "clips" and type of file is shown as "Roxio Markup Sound "
