Roxio Coaster Creator

Question

Hi,

Every time I try to burn an Audio DVD with "Quick Music DVD or "Music Creator" I run into problems!

As the program starts encoding the files it gets part way in and just freezes! No error message or anything....but the it just hangs at 13-17% complete and I have to press cancel. I've tried this numerous times, with numerous different music files but continue to have the same problem and keep wasting DVD after DVD.

Can anyone provide any help?

Below is the error message I am now getting:

AppName:musiccreator10.exe AppVer 10.0.0.42 ModName: dragon30.dll

ModVer: 10.0.0.71 Offset:0003877d

"a repair install" In Control Panel Add or Remove Programs did you choose uninstall (Remove) ? I think Paul meant choose repair ( you have to click the change button) in Add or Remove Programs.

cd

Yes I did mean a repair install but I would have hoped that a full reinstall would have done the same thing. I don't know why this happens or what causes it but it was often enough for me in XP. I'm using Vista much more now and don't seem to have this problem with MDC. I wonder if MDC is too sensitive and other programs corrupt some files that it uses which is why the repair install fixes it??????? As I said, it's a mystery to me.

Hi Paul,

Just wanted to say thanks for the reply. I have tried re-installing.....but still encounter the same problem.
