Drive not detected

Hi. I have just got Roxio Easy Media Creator 10. At the bottom of the home page it states that no drive is detected. I have updated my directx, I cannot find details of my video card to update that driver.....

I have downloaded the following update patch, http://forums.support.roxio.com/index.php?showtopic=4194, but still no joy. My system is Windows XP 2002.

Could anyone help please?

Please note: I have posted this under burning issues forum too, but am hoping to solve this issue asap. Also, I have ran the above patch & the drive is detected in the device manager.
