Using Disc Cover RE.app with External Lightscribe Burner

Due to the fact there is not the facility of Lightscribe disc label burning on the iMac I have external which the iMac recognizes, but although there is the facility within Toast 8, for lightscribe printing, when I use an imported photos to print on disc it does not start the print, but comes up with an error message, but if one use the in house clipart it prints, any suggestions

There is a separate DC version 1.5.1(v285) that you could try.

Where did you find that? I looked around roxio and couldn't see any update to DC

 

Nevermind, found it, don't know why Roxio did not include this in their update but for others here is the link

That in itself did not work, but looks like there is also new lightscribe driver. Mine seems to be working via usb, haven't tried through FW, I say seems to be working hasn't completed the disk yet, If it doesn't work I will come back and post.

Well it is working in USB, but not in firewire, I get a failed communication error.

Same problem here, I was trying to use a photo imported from Iphoto. I think this was working prior to the latest update. Are you at 8.03(DC 1.3.3 v191)?
