Featured tip

for Windows XP

Get rid of unused programs on your PC

Want a quick and easy way to speed up your PC? Remove programs you don't use. Here's how:

1. On the Start menu, click Control Panel.

2. In the Control Panel, click Add or Remove Programs.

3. In the Add or Remove dialog box, you will see a list of all the programs on your PC. When you click a program, you can see how often and when you last used the program. If you want to get rid of the program, click Remove.

4. Click Yes.

Like that's sooooo hard to come to grips with (they don't bother pointing out that the MS Installer never really does a good job of UNinstalling)

In the same e-mail

"19 ways Windows Vista can make you smarter...turn to your computer and Windows Vista to help you sharpen up your memory and improve your IQ"

Now I've heard everything
