EMC 10 Doesn't Install

I have to say I'm having the exact same issue, not on 1 but 2 separate vista machines, both HP and both had EMC 9 DE on them from HP, I went through the manual removal method and the same thing happens. It get about 3 bars into the install of EMC 10 and says its finished but nothing ins installed. This is frustrating to all H*LL I bought 2 digital down lodes, both have the same issue, so I went and bought a boxed copy, same thing. any ideas. ? well besides putting it under the tree for some relative.. :-)

 

I've read and searched sites after sites, forums after forums, and followed every single step that all others' advices. And seeing NO RESOLVES. TOTALLY FRUSTRATION!

Return it, and ask for a refund. I did.

IMO, Sonic rushed Roxio EMC 10 to market so that it would be available for Christmas sales before it was ready. Some of the user reviews of Roxio EMC 10 on Amazon are brutal. You may want to have a look.

Yea Im doing exactly that today, I'm keeping 1 copy to see if I can get it to work , Id like to be able to role it out in my office to a few of the senior management, they always want the latest crap. as it is now I went back to the version 9 that came with the HP's and have had no problems . And ye those reviews are not family friendly.. rofl..
