Leopard: Spaces -- new trouble (8.0.1-8.0.3)

Question

Submitted a bug with Apple on ADC...

Summary:
Have any application open.  Minimize application window to dock.  Switched to another virtual desktop, running Toast v8.0.1 (or v8.0.3) while its encoding/burning/verifying.  Then, clicking on minimized application window icon in Dock, it reveals window, switching back to original virtual desktop.  Progress window from Toast is continuously drawn over the application window in error without its window decorations.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Minimize application window on "space" without Toast
2. Switch to space running Toast.
3. Click on minimized application icon in Dock
4. Spaces automatically switches desktop to the original space the minimized application was on

Expected Results:
The minimized application is properly shown.

Actual Results:
The contents of the Toast dialog are drawn over the top of the application window.

According to Apple Developer Connection (ADC) bug reporter...

Engineering has provided the following feedback regarding this issue:

In reviewing your report, this sounds like the toast application is assuming that it can draw at all times and is caching its window coordinates.

And closed the bug report with the status of "Third Party to Resolve".. So Roxio? you going to provide a fix? thanks.

I too, am seeing odd behavior from Toast 8.0.3 under Leopard 10.5.2.

I have six spaces enabled w/Toast assigned space 2, when Toast has finished a burn the Eject dialog appears in Space 1! Toast is the least graceful in its handling of Spaces of all the apps I use; pretty frustratin since I use it so much.

Sure would be great to see some developer feedback :)

I too have seen various issues related to Spaces, in 8.0.3. I assume that we will see some fixes to address this in 8.0.4?
