Progress Bar Problems Toast 8.0.3

Ever since I upgraded to Toast 8.0.3 the progress bar doesn't work right when burning a double layer DVD. Sometimes it will show progress up to a certain point in the burn, then freeze. It does the same thing when verifying the DVD. The time remaining counter continues to work while burning, but when I let it verify the disc I have no idea of how long before the verification will be done. The application seems to continue doing what it is supposed to do, it's just the progress bar isn't working.

 

I'm running OS X 10.4.11

 

Anybody else have this problem?

When generating 2 copies of an image file on SL discs, the 2nd copy progress bar froze but successfully completed the burn.

I've only done one burn since the 8.0.3 update - a DL DVD+R, but I'm experiencing the same thing. Progress bar is frozen, percent complete counter is also frozen, but the time remaining counter still functions.

 

One thing I've noticed: The progress bar in Toast's icon in the dock, or when you hit Command-Tab still works.

AHa! You are right. I was stuck staring at a still verifying bar and had no idea what was up. Now I noticed the one in the dock is moving - if ever so slowly. Yeah. I won't cancel the verify.
