Adding Narration To Video

I have added music to my video and now want to add narration. However, the choice ot "add narration" is not highligtedunder the "Productiion" tab as a choice as "add text" etc. are. Also the narr track in time Line is not highlighted in orange as the native and audio tracks are. How do I add narration? How do I highlight the "add narration" choice under "Production?' I'm lost and need help.

I will assume you are working in Videowave. If you do not have a picture/video clip highlighted on the video track, Add Narration will be greyed out on the Production drop down menu. Highlight the first picture/video clip on the video track where you want the narration to start. To highlight the picture/video clip, simply point to the picture and click the mouse button and it should be outlined in orange. Now click Production and add narration should be highlighted. Click add narration and follow the instructions from that screen.

 

As an alternative, you can record your narration with an audio editor and save it to your hard drive. Then in videowave with the narration track displayed, click Show Media Selector and navigate to the location of the narration file and drag it to the narration track.
