Before anyone can offer any suggestions, you need to provide some information that is useful. Such as which version of what Roxio or Sonic program are you using, which app in the suite you are using, what are your system specs (especially your burner make/models), what steps/options did you take in putting together your project, etc....

I purchased My DVD 9 Studio Premier. I am putting together approx. 200 pictures with 5 songs. I have a new computer. I have to figure out what it has for a burner. Should be pretty up to date I would think. It is a LightScribe Double Layewr 16X DVD +R/RW drive with CD writer capabilities. I scanned the 200 pictures and added music. It turned out great. Now, I need it on CD. I am using DVD R8x with 4.7 GB. I thought I just needed to insert CD and hit burn........

What are you trying to do? In your original post you said you wanted to burn to a DVD. Now you say your want to burn to a CD. Which is it?

If you want to burn your slideshow to a CD you have to use a CD not a DVD. Have looked at all at the help system and tutorials for myDVD 9?
