red box easy cd & dvd

I downloaded the disc into my hard drive its in document and files. Now what? I go to dvd express to convert them to video files and its not there! I pull up documents and files and video file where it was on my computer but it doesn't come up in dvd express. I don't get it, where is it. All I'm trying to do is tranform the dvd video into a file I can upload to a website. Its a video I made from a camcorder no copywrite laws involved. Whats the simplest way to do this with this gernaric product?

Media import?- well I need to transform the c:document file it is currently in , into either mpeg,mp4,mpg,avi, or asx before I can upload it to website. This is where I am stuck. I thought the file gets transformed in dvd express-Is it somewhere else I go to transform the file?

That is different from what you described.

 

You bought a cut down version that does not have what you need to make conversions…

 

MyDVD should import them but the output is going to be for a DVD – vob files.

 

You would need the full version that includes VideoWave which has output options.

 

Fair warning: If any of these files are copyrighted, the program will not touch them.

Okay its going back to the store. No they are not copywrite theyt are dvd's I made from my camcorder tape. Thanx now its Office Depots issue! I found this online-this should do what I want - http://avs4you.com/Guides/How-to-convert-b...-formats.aspx#6
