Spanning in Toast 8?

I'm using Toast 7.1.2 currently and planning to upgrade to 8. Has the disc spanning feature changed from 7 to 8? Any improvements? I'm happy that 7 was updated to ask for another disc if an error occurred during the writing. I wasted a number of DLs before that. It'd be nice to be able to go back and reburn a single disc of a set if needed. Perhaps if Toast could burn to spanned DVD images?

The major change to disc spanning in Toast 8 is that you now can do it in Mac & PC format as well as Mac only. If it fails burning or verifying a disc it lets you burn it again. I don't think you can go back and burn a single disc of a set.
