Problem mounting ISO as drive for Microsoft Team Studio 2008

Chunda

Question

Hi,

When mounting an ISO file as a drive (Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Team Studio Edition) I just get a text file saying:

This disc contains a "UDF" file system and requires an operating system that supports the ISO-13346 "UDF" file system specification.

Any ideas why it won't mount the DVD image?

Thanks

Chunda

Running Vista 32-bit and EMC 10.0

Seems to be a common problem with that disc (I Googled).Try Googling is0-13346 for some solutions.

One seems to be first upgrading the firmware of the drive.

Also why not take the image and burn it to a DVD and then try installing from there.

Thanks,

I did burn it to DVD and that works fine for install.

If it will burn it why can't it mount it?

You will have to ask MS VS about that… Not a Roxio problem.

Hi,

File burns fine to disc, Roxio just won't mount the ISO file correctly, just reporting it here if it is a Roxio bug or know issue?

Cheers

The image is OK. Roxio disc image loader doesn't handle mixed UDF/ISO properly (maybe there's an option to set?).

Every DVD Compliant Video burned by Software is a UDF/ISO complication. I have no problem mounting any in Roxio Disc Image Loader. What version of UDF and ISO is this MS Image?
