I am not sure what you are trying to do based on that brief description. You can add additional menus. Point to a blank area on the main menu (not on a button or text), right click, and select New Menu. That will add a second main menu (for lack of a better term) with an arrow on the first main menu to navigate to the second main menu and a corresonding arrow on the second menu to return to the first.

Is that what you want to do?? If not, please provide more specific information about what you are trying to accomplish.

Thanks for the reply. What I am hoping to do is use the first menu as an index so when you would have "buttons" that would take you to different menus. The arrows work as well except if I want to get to my 5th "sub" menu I have to go through the first 4 in order to get to it. I want a way to go directly to the fifth menu from the first

As far as I know, there is not a way in DVDBuilder to do what you want. You have to go from one menu to the next in sequence. That is, menu 1 to menu 2, menu 3, etc. I do not know of any capability to jump directly from menu 1 to menu 5.

Sorry. Maybe someone else has a solution.

I'm having this problem too. I read about chapter markings, but am having a terrible time figuring this out. I created many DVD's in version 6 this way and it was excellent. It let you add submenus to the menu. Don't know why they changed that in 7.5. If you figure it out I would love to know as well.

You can mark chapters in DVDBuilder 7.5 that create additional chapter menus, but that is not what the original poster wanted to do.

To create chapter menus, highlight the title on the main menu and click the Mark Chapters icon in the Production Editor. When the Mark Chapters window appears, play the title or drag the slider to the first chapter point you want and click the Add button. Repeat for each additional chapter. Make sure the Create Chapter Menus box at the bottom of the window is checked.

Hope that helps

Can you add Menus to the Main Menu in the same manor as you would add a title?
