I have several projects which uses externally encoded VOBs. When I use these as files for menu options in a DVD project and choose the NEVER re-encode option, Toast will, in many cases, ignore my choice and start re-encoding the files.
If I reboot my system to 10.4.10 and use Toast 7, the same identical project burns and plays correctly. Insofar as I can determine this bug happens in both the Power PC and Intel versions of all iterations of Toast 8
