Upgrade to DVDit HD or PPro/Encore CS3?

I have had good results with both products (DVDIt Pro 6.? - build 604B78A - and PPro2), but at an upgrade price of $200 to get to DVDIt Pro HD or $300 to PPro CS3 with Encore thrown in, what real choice do I have? Yeh, another $900 to get to production suite.

 

And the only immediate problem that drives my decision now is .... wide screen menus.

 

I guess the questions I have are: $200 to upgrade right? And wide screen menus only with DVDIt Pro HD?

 

I have reviewed the couple of older threads debating DVDIt Pro HD vs Encore CS3.

What is this V6.3 ? Where is it, i can't find it? And what is the $99 for it still shows $199.

there is DVDit Pro and DVDit Pro HD. Pro has no Blu-ray output. Really the only difference between 6.0 and 6.3 is widescreen menus in the Pro version.

After using both, DVDit ProHD is all I use. Encore is still far too buggy. If your interested, I will sell you my copy of EncoreCS3 just to get rid of it. It was never registered, for that matter, it wouldn't even install on my laptop. A lot of people are having problems just getting it installed. A real waste of money and time as far as I'm concerned.
