Copying a Keynote presentation

sirron

Question

I have a Keynote presentation with sound that I'd like to be able to copy, send to my family/friends, giving them the ability to view on their TVs or Macs/PCs. Failing that, just the ability to see it on another Mac. What kind of disk will I use? What settings are correct on Toast 8? etc.. Any help would appreciated. Thanks. Ron.

Thanks a lot. The Quicktime method worked. I was also able to do the second method and it's playing on my TV right now. The only problem is the fixed time for each slide. Thanks again. Regards. Ron. Keynote provides several Export options for creating a file that is viewable without requiring Keynote. If you choose the one you think is best, just burn it using the Mac & PC format in the Toast Data window. It will be readable on any computer.

If you want it to be viewable on a TV you could try making it into a video DVD by exporting it as a QuickTime movie with fixed timing for the frame advances. Then add it to the Video window with DVD video selected as the format. I haven't tried this so I don't know what might go wrong.
