Disapearring Audio ON HD

Hey People,

I just installed CD Creator 10 (upgradeing fron 8) on A Sony Vaio with DV Gate capture.

When I dragged the .M2T to the timeline, the audio doesn't come with it when the file is converted to the .mpg. It also can't be extracted (it doean't exist when you play the converted file).

Several users have had this same problem. I have the Sony HC7. When adding m2t files, some will have audio and some will not. According to Gspot, the m2t files from my HC7 are MPEG 2 with MPEG audio. This has been reported to Roxio.

 

When I use Sony's Motion Picture Browser to capture to m2t files, I have intermittent propblems with audio. When I use HDVSplit (shareware), I don't have any audio problems so it appears to be a Sony software issue, but you never know.
