Multiple Questions

Question

Hey I know these answers are probably simple, but I can't figure them out, and the help center never seems to work.

1. How do I mute the audio for multiple or all the clips in my movie?

2. How do I take a picture from the video and save it to my computer?

3. Are there any special effects like a star i could put in a person's eyes, and how do i use them

4. Are there sound effects that can go with text? like the sound of a racecar going with the text flying into the screen for example?

I appreciate any help, thanks a lot.

I'm not sure about all of your questions but you can delete an audio selection. While in VideoWave and in the Production Editor, choose the "Time Line" view and your audio track should be showing on the audio line. Just right click on that particular track you want to delete and on the drop down menu, choose "DELETE".

Hope that is what you are trying to do. :)

You do not state which application you are using, so I will attempt to answer your questions based on the Videowave application which is the application you should use to build your video projects.

1. How do I mute the audio for multiple or all the clips in my movie?

As far as I know, you cannot mute native audio on multiple clips at the same time. You have to do each one separately, one at a time. To do that, point to the video clip and right click. Select Edit\Native audio and move the Overall Volume slider the entire way to the left (the volume value should be -34).

2. How do I take a picture from the video and save it to my computer?

Navigate to your video clip in the Media Selector Window. Right click on the clip and select Extract Image. Follow the prompts from there.

3. Are there any special effects like a star i could put in a person's eyes, and how do i use them

Not that I am aware of in Videowave. You may be able to do something like that in a photo editor like Photosuite, and then import that picture into your project.

4. Are there sound effects that can go with text? like the sound of a racecar going with the text flying into the screen for example?

There are no such sound effects included in videowave. There are many internet sites where you can obtain sound effects. Do a google search to find them. You could then download the file to your computer and place it on the sound effects track to coincide with the text.

Hope some of this helps

In VIDEOWAVE:

1. If you haven't already split the movie into scenes or to mute the audio on different scenes, right click on the video/scene on the storyline and choose Edit\ Native Audio. Move the slider all the way to the left ( -34).

2. In the Media Selector, right click and choose Extract Image ...... save as a .jpg file, not an bitmapped file.

3. Don't know, you'll have to look. There are some Stars in the overlays and some effects down near the bottom that might work if you resized them. You can also find or make your own 'star' on a solid background, use it as an overlay and use the Chromakey to eliminate the solid background to reveal the picture underneath.

4. You're pretty much on your own with sound effects and music. The good news is that they are fairly easy to import into VW.

Hope that helps.
