Hi due to a computer crash i had to reinstall xp on my laptop. i downloaded the emc 10 when it first cam out and I backed it up onto disk. now when i try and reinstall it i am having problems. i enter the serial no and it says its loadeding. then it says its finished loading after about 10 seconds. i then go to the folder where its supposed to have been downloaded to. Problems are its not there. i check with add remove programmes and its not there either. i try to run it and nothing. i do a search and it comes up with some files but they are all gobbledeegook? I tride to another install and choose where and what i download. again it says its downloaded after about 10 to 20 seconds and again nothing ........... any ideas as i am at a loss? i have th esoftware on back up disk and its all worked before so whats happening now. why is it saying download completed when it clearly hasnt? I cant redownload software as its over the time limit
