No, those images are embedded into the background video used for the menu.

 

If you like that menu style, why don't you just make your own? Read this. You can do a similar menu with a background and several overlays with movement.

 

Another possibility is to use the slide show assistant under the photo tab to see if one of the transition effects would give you something similar to what you want. You would then output that to VideoWave and then output it to a mpg2 file. Use that in MyDVD when you are changing the menu.

 

You could also use that video as an introductory video that will play as soon as you insert the DVD. After that plays, you would then get the sports reel menu to select the individual movies.

Another suggestion: You can edit the menu background and put an overlay on the menu picture. However, you will not be able to place your rectangular overlay in the same exact position of the menu picture which is a slanted parallelogram. You'll probably just want to resize your overlay enough to cover the menu picture.
