dvd slideshow disappointing

nfdoc

Question

Created a slideshow w music and burned to dvd. tried both 16:9 and 4:3. The menus look fine on a widescreen tv but there are large black bands top and bottom and the images are streeeeetcheeeeed wide on the screen.

Can this be corrected or is it a function of all slideshows??

If the dvd or tv settings are wrong..... how come the menus display correctly full screen??

This is also visible in the preview playback before burning. All the slide images are stretched horizontally and there is a large black border top and botttom, not with the menus but only when displaying the images.

If this is a function of the software and they are unable to format the slides correctly... this is a pretty poor program.

You didn't mention that earlier and makes a huge difference. Don't think anyone else has posted this issue before.

Which application are you using? Are you using the slideshow wizard? What video card do you have and have you updated the drivers and DirectX?
