EMC9-Slide show picture text

dbb4u

Question

I'm using EMC9 and have many picture files (.JPG) that I manually labeled to describe the picture. Example vacation pictures where each file name has been modified like" Pic 001 Mission Team". I have a slide show of over 400 pictures that I want to put together. Is there anyway to get this file information into the slide show so that those viewing it will know what they are looking at? Also are there settings or preferences that will allow this to happen automatically.

Hope someone can help me with this.

Thanks :(

I'm not sure if this is what you want but you can group pictures of the same event (say summer vacation, birthday, thanksgiving, etc.). For each event, you can insert a color panel with text that may contain info as to the occasion, date, and place to introduce the next group of pictures.

I don't know of any way that this can be done automatically. I tried google but got nothing although I may have not done a good search.

You could always copy and paste the name (from a text file) onto the image by adding the text to the internal track of the image. It will be a lot of work. malatekid's suggestion would work much easier.

Thanks but I'm already doing those things. It would be a lot of color panels.

How many events are there for the 400 or so pictures?

Maybe it will help if you use a template color panel with text. In Storyboard view, copy your first color panel with text to the clipboard and paste it to the panel of the first picture of the next event. Then modify the text of that panel. Do the same steps in every event.
