Nokinoz Posted December 4, 2007 Report Share Posted December 4, 2007 I have a copy of Popcorn 3.0.2 and eye tv I have recorded a show that is 1:57 mins long and want to burn to a dvd The Movie shows up in the Pop corn Media Browser and when I click on it it opens in the content window in Popcorn 3 If I click on DVD Disc in the left window "Use fit-to-Dvd video compression" appears in the options window Image File in the left window "Use fit-to-Dvd video compression" appears in the options window Video TS- TS Folder in the left window "Use fit-to-Dvd video compression" appears in the options window But I can not get the Eye Tv listing to copy to these links It seems to auto import to the last one DVD-VIDEO and now the compress statement is no longer present It only gives me Menu Styles Encoding and Video Quality Choosing "Good" makes no difference I am not Blonde but still can not solve the problen Help Please Nok Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
tsantee Posted December 4, 2007 Report Share Posted December 4, 2007 Your EyeTV recorder likely should fit a DVD without any additional compression to fit a single-layer disc. But if it is telling you that it won't fit then choose Save as Disc Image from the File menu. When that is done then choose the disc image using the Image File setting and you can proceed with the Fit-to-DVD compression as part of burning your DVD. There is good reason it works this way. The Fit-to-DVD compression requires the source video to be "authored" in a VIDEO_TS folder which is done when you choose Save as Disc Image.
