Anyone working on a fix?!

Gary Walker

Question

I'm sure Roxio is aware of the chapter problems, ie. from ignoring chapters to my problem, the further down the line in the Blu-ray DVD the more the chapters are off, from 1 second to 5 seconds. I realize their may be workarounds for some, but after burning thousands of DVD's over eight years on different systems. I can't fix this one, (thanks for all who tried helping). Back to the question, any fix, patch, whatever, insight. Gary

For Final Cut and Compressor users on a Mac,

In Final Cut change the

"Sequence Setting", "Starting TimeCode" to

00:00:00;00 instead of the default value of 01:00:00;00.

Chapter markers work!

Hi Tom, just saw your post, good for you!!...does this lend any ideas about my problem, ie chapters off by 1-5 seconds...of course I'm not using a mac. Also I was just going to post a problem with Panasonic BD-R's (I have been buying them at Frys electronics for the past two months without a problem, on sale their $7.99 they are 1-2x speed, well I just picked up 10 yesterday, now they state that they are 1-4x speed, well Roxio won't accept them "incompatable media". any Idea, my burner is the pioneer 202, which states 1-4 burn speed....???Gary

Chapter point issue - could be a similar issue for Premier and Procoder files as there is with Compressor files. If someone wants to send me a small elementary m2v file out of either of those, I would be happy to take a look at the files and see if we can get to the bottom of the situation.

Hi Scott, glad to see I'm not the only one editing on a Sunday, I don't know if a short file would help since my chapters go off later down the line, (half hr and on) but if you think it would let me know. Gary. PS any ideas why a panasonic BD-R 1-4x speed, wont work, ie "incompatable Media" roxio message. (the panas were 1-2x's now their 1-4 but my pioneer 202 states 1-4...Gary...Thanks again, let me know..
