No Audio in Preview or when Burned

The files were originally from my Sony Handy Cam recorder.

I brought them onto my PC using a firewire. I then added them to my Videowave 10 production.

Within Videowave 10 when I click on the individual clips everything looks and sounds great. When I try to preview my production I get no audio. I also just saved the image to a video file (.mp4) and there is no audio there either.

I discovered Cinemagic is the problem. When I use the "select scenes" feature to break the film into smaller clips it strips out the sound. Has anybody solved that problem?

Thanks,

Joe

Yeah, as has been stated, more than one time, in the forums, forget about using Cinemagic. It should work, but sometimes doesn't.

Use VideoWave, by itself, for your productions.

CineMagic strips out all audio if you are using scenes because it was designed to give an "impression" of the video. Since it will do short scenes and will put scenes out of order, any audio would be horrific. As grandpabruce said, use VideoWave and then My DVD.

I spent lots of time building a production. The audio works on the individual clips, but not in preview or when I burn it. I am running EMC10 on a new Dell Laptop using Vista. Help Please!!!!

It is possible that even though you don't hear audio in the preview it will still work but you won't know until you try it out. Burn to an image file and check before you burn to disc.

What type of file is it and is this in Videowave or MyDVD? Please go through your steps so we can have more info on the problem.
