My DVD

Question

OK! I recoreded a 2 hour TV show through Windows Media Center. I wantedd to remove commercials and burn to Lightscribe DVD+R, just like with 1 hours shows through WMC. I cranked up VideoWave and removed all the commercials saved project and used the Burn icon at the top of the page. This brought up MYDVD. Loaded the file. I entered a Title in the Menu area and asked MYDVD to create Disc. Next page showed the drive where the file would burn and then MYDVD stated the long drawn out affair of encoding the Movie. Hours later the bar was at 100%. Thre were no prompts on what to do next, so I closed out program and tried to play newely burned disc.

Zip,Zilch,NADA!! Computer is convinced there is no disk in drive, Tired to open disc and explore but PC wants me to put a disc in the drive. I removed all discs from all drives and did a reboot. Same story! Computer claims there is no disc in the drive.

any ideas what I did wrong?? I am in the process of burning another disc as I type. Between Windows Movie Maker and MYDVD I've gone through quite a few lightscribe discs,

System is HP m7780n, Windows Vista Premium, 2 gig memory, all drivers updated.

Any information will be appreciated.

Havbe you updated your video drivers? HP are showing one dated June for Vista (and none for XP) here

However, try using the nVidia website for a more up to date version (I can't see what graphics card your machine uses so I can't be specific as to what to tell you to download. Also, download and install the latest DirectX from Microsoft (this is no longer part of MS Updates but has to be acquired manually)
