editing DVDs

Question

We have upgraded from Easy CD Creator 5 to Easy Media Creator 10 today - big leap!

I have had Super 8 family home movies burned to DVD and thought that I would be able to edit the DVDs on Easy Media Creator 10 - that is take out the bits that are blurry or boring etc and then burn a new DVD without those bits, is this possible? I have looked through the User Guide and played around with the program but cannot see where I can do this.

Put the DVD in your computer drive and copy the folders from the DVD into a folder on your computer. Open Video Wave and select Add photo/video. Add the VOB files. You will be able to edit them and save them as a project file. Close VideoWave and use My DVD to make the menus (or not) and burn to a disc.

Read this for a compete process and watch the video about cutting out parts of a video.

Post back on your progress or if you have additional questions.

Thanks sknis for your help, I will have some time after Christmas to try what you have advised.
