I have captured video using both Roxio and Movie Maker. Trying to burn through the Cinemagic Assistant or the MyDVD is giving me a headache! The captured video is there and I can get through all the setup options of choosing the drive, the format, etc., but when I click on the "create disc" button the Burn Project window comes up and both the overall progress and current task:Encoding Movie bars show 0%. The "Encoding Preview" window is a black screen and it will sit there for hours doing absolutely nothing.
I converted many a VHS tape with EMC 7.5 with no problems and I have a new HP Media Center PC with all current drivers (I just checked them again tonight...). Am I missing something or should I have just stuck with EMC 7.5? I am not finding this to be a very intuitive program. Any suggestions out there that may be an easy fix or should I just scrap Roxio altogether? This has been going on for two months and I am at my wit's end!
