Failed to import media file.

Every once in a while one of the media files, a video in my case, will fail to import. It will be in the import process and the loading screen disappears near the end of the process. The file I tried to import will not be under the media tab. It's really strange because there are no error messages. I try to do it again, but the next time the bar goes quicker and I still end up with nothing. Starting a new project and importing the same video does not help either. The file I am trying to import should import just like any of the other videos that were imported. Same file type. The file that is not working right now is about 3.7 GB.

I just re-encoded the file, and the program finally imported it. Thanks for the help though.

Is the file demuxed? If not, try demuxing it and importing the video and audio and see if that works.
