Files transferred from Tivo won't sync to iPhone

I can transfer files from my Tivo just fine, and when I use Popcorn to add them to iTunes (using the iPhone preset) they play in iTunes. Bt when I try to sync them to my iPhone, I get the error message "[File name] was not copied to the iPhone because it cannot be played on this iPhone."

 

Any thoughts? The iPhone preset should work, but are there any custom settings I could change?

I figured it out. I exported my first Tivo transfer manually using the iPhone setting. After that I set the Tivo Transfer app to automatically pop transferred shows, thinking my settings would stay. I was unaware that there's a preference setting in the Popcorn app for what to do with every Tivo transfer -- by default it's set to AppleTV, which won't sync to iPhone.
