Burning Dox and Pix onto Cd

Funfunfun

Question

Hi Everyone

Since installing v10 I have to open the window that shows temporary files to be burned to cd and choose write these temporary files to cd. It uesd to be in version 8 that I just sent them to the cd and they were burned and the cd was ejected when done.

How do I set v10 so that I can just send dox and pix to the cd and then they are burned automatically and the cd is ejected when finished ??? Thank you so much! fun

What you are seeing being used is the built in burning function of your operating system.

It sounds like what you used to use was the Drag to Disc program in v8 (the packet writing temp storage writing program). v 10 does not include Drag to Disc. So if you uninstalled v8, that's why you no longer have the function you used to.

Did you try using the built in burning capabilities in your Operating System (XP/Vista).

Yes, that's what he says . .

Sorry Fun, but Drag to Disc was dropped from EMC10 because that method of writing is the default built-in method in Vista.

It looks as if you will have to make do with the XP built-in sessions method until you move to Vista.

Thanks Larry!

I don't remember using drag to disc specifically but maybe it allowed what I used to do? I still have v8 on my other computer, is there anyway to get the drag to disc component from my v8 install cd installed on the computer with v10 on it? Sorry I just have to ask...I would rather not have both versions installed on one computer. Its OK if not, just one extra step to burn i guess. Thanks again, fun
