Hello,

When I select the Creator basic v9 icon from the dropped down menu it does not open. When I select the MyDVD icon from the Roxio dropped down it opens fines.

 

Problem: I cannot get the option to burn musical cd from the dropped down menu.

If the software came pre-installed on my computer can I get the updates and and downloads from the roxio websites with out a fee?

There are no updates available for OEM versions - but did you try Creator Classic for making audio CDs {presuming that Music Disc Creator is not available)?

Classic cannot make Audio CD's in any version of V9.

Can you go directly there through the Start Menu?

I'm not sure which menu is which so this may not be of any help. What computer did you get? Regardless, you should see something like this. Go to the audio tab on the left and select "Create etc". If you do not have this, then go back to the computer manufacturer and get them to send you an OEM disc because you have a bad install.
