Index CD?

sharkness

Question

I have many cd's with pictures on them. I have EMC 9 and would like to know if there Is any way I can index them without copying the whole file onto my hard drive. I would also like to index my audio cd's as well as backup data cd's I have. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can go about doing this? I just bought the EMC 9 at Staples thinking it was the one that did this.

This is all new to me. I did have EMC 6 but 9 is so different, and I just can't find the disk gallery.

Yes, EMC 8, 9 and 10 are very different. The next question is what version of the software do you have? Is it an OEM that came with a computer or piece of hardware or is it something your purchased? It is probably not in the version you have. Is it the Suite or the Deluxe Suite? I believe that it was only available in the Deluxe Suite. If you got the Dazzle DVC 90 device then you have the Deluxe suite.

It is available in the "Copy and Convert" product but it is not cheap. You can get the whole EMC 10 with their Christmas sales and upgrade for not much more. :( EMC 10 has it.

Yes, that is my problem. I have EMC9 suite. I was very disappointed after I purchased it and found out there was a newer version. The store would not return it even though I had not opened it. I guess the internet is the way to go for software. Thanks for your help :angry2:

Under the My Media tab, look at Disc Gallery to see if that is what you are looking for. I haven't used it but I know it is there.

That's a crappy store; most will allow you to return it or to use it to upgrade. Post the name of the store so others will know to be careful when buying software from them.

If it is CompUSA, they probably won't take it because they are going out of business.
