EMC 10 installation?

I just purchased EMC 10, not out of the box yet. Any special instructions for installation?

 

AMD 64 ATHLON X2, 4600, 160 sata hd, 100 free, vista home premium, 2 g ram, on board Nvidia , ca av, spybot, lavasoft, linkys router but not installed yet, hi speed connection.

 

i have uninstalled Quicktime do to security threats, need that be installed?

Yes, see this post and turn off av and internet security while installing.
