joining 2 vidoes as one file

Question

Hi folks. I have EMC9 and I LOVE it. It's the best program out there.

But I need a little help with one project. I have three videos: video 1 is whole by itself and poses no issues fr me, video2a and video2b and split (ALL three video's are AVI format -- not sure if that matters). Anyways, I would like to burn all three videos on one DVD. Like I said, video 1 is good to go, but I don't want vdieo2a and video2b to appear as two separate files. I thought about getting a AVI joiner and joining video2a and video2b, but that is a lot of work. Can ECM 9 allow me to join these two files as one file, and so I can burn a DVD with only 2 videos?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks. And, once I save it as one file, I will have two video's that are AVI. Do you know if the Video Compilation will burn the AVIs to a DVD that can be run on any dvd player? Or, do I need to convert the AVI to a DVD format before burning?

BTW, this might be helpful -- how do I "join" these two files using Videowave???

Video Copy and Convert will not burn your .avi files as a DVD compliant movie.

In VideoWave, click on Add Photo/Video, browse to the .avi files, and bring both into VideoWave for editing.

You can use Videowave to do what you want. All you have to do is add the 2 files and and save it.
