no easy install

:huh: Like everyone else I am very disappointed in the new versiion. I have used version 8 for years and have been very happy. I then decided to upgrade to version 10 and it has been a nightmare. I have spent hours and hours and still more hours on trying to install the stupid software. I have read the discussions. printed the sheets and tried to follow it to the letter and keep getting the same results. My wife thinks I have lost my mind.

 

Enough is enough I am going to submit for a refund and start looking for a new software product. any suggestions????

 

If anyone from Roxio is out there.......You had better this straighted out!!!!!!!

You've never said exactly what your problem is so it's hard to offer help. Is it in installing? Are there errors during install? We can't try to help you if you don't give enough information.

It starts to install and reaches a point that it stops. Then it starts to do a rollback. and gives me an error message that the install was interrupted. and then closes.

I have a downloaded file called RoxioEMCSuitev10_4737GA50R05.exe I even deleted the file and redownloaded to make sure I had a good copy of the download.

Still very little information! What are your computer specs, especially video card? Do you have the latest drivers for the card? Do you have latest DirectX? Have you defragmented your hard drive? How much free space do you have available? Have you shut down antivirus checking, disconnected from the internet, etc while installing? Do you have other Roxio/Sonic software installed?

Try installing the newest Microsoft installer. Reboot, and try the install again.
